Yyeah, if it were closer, I'd at least throw my hat in the ring. That chassis plus a donor Zero drivetrain, and some real brakes would be sweet to screw around in. I'd probably roll it though.

It has an engine type of “ NO” and no drivetrain listed. Probably already been a donor vehicle to some Zapcar enthusiast.

Welp, my motorcycle certification is still valid
But I don't want to start a modern Reliant Robin racing series.

When, not if.

If I was closer I’d make a bid. The cost to get it to me would far exceed the value.

If it were closer I’d be all over it. Unfortunately the cost to get it to Ohio would far exceed what I’d spend on something like this.

And why not?

I’m here and I’ll pass. That thing has terrible idea written all over it. One of you should definitely buy it.

Well for starters, the new owner of this "car" would be the lone entry.

Interesting that the data plate shows Qingqi as the manufacturer, pretty sure they just did the electric conversion, with the cars actually coming from Shandong Jindalu.

Think a Tesla Model S drive unit would fit in it?
![]() 12/02/2019 at 22:46 |
|
That depends on your definition of fit.

With the application of enough angle grinder and MIG welder, anything can fit.
